This past year continued to be challenging for all involved in supply chain. GEODIS understands its ability to successfully expand and provide best in class service is directly related to the dedication of our carrier partners. We proudly recognize the following carriers for their excellence in what they do to support GEODIS and our clients. These carriers have shown exemplary on time service, penetration across the GEODIS network, and the ability to provide overall value and flexibility to the GEODIS network and our clients.

LTL Carrier Awards

A. Duie Pyle

A. Duie Pyle is a 5 time GEODIS Carrier of the Year winner. They are a family owned business since 1924 and are the Northeast's premier transportation and logistics provider. They offer award-winning Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) service and extended coverage through established partnerships into the Southeast, Midwest, West Coast and Canada. Their business philosophy is built on sustainability and utilize new technologies to incorporate strategies that focus on their community, their business, their employees and families, and the environment. 

Dayton Freight

Dayton Freight is also a 5 time GEODIS Carrier of the Year winner. They are celebrating their 40th year of providing superior service, specializing in the Midwest. They focus on customer service and quality, with a union-free customer-driven business model, Dayton has established itself as a high performance, LTL regional carrier that businesses depend on everyday. Dayton prides themselves on focusing on their community where thinking about other people is the norm. Their company vision is "Delivering Value Today. Driving The Standard For Tomorrow", which they have certainly lived up to.

Old Dominion Freight Line

Old Dominion Freight Line (ODFL) has been providing premium customer focused LTL service since 1934. They are a 4 time GEODIS Carrier of the Year award winner. ODFL puts significant focus in utilizing cutting edge technology. As the complexity and speed of today’s supply chains continue to evolve, accurate and timely access to data becomes more and more important. Utilizing a state-of-the-art load planning and routing systems, they are able to use real time data to ensure the most efficient LTL solutions possible. Through the use of their technology and data, they are able to provide flexibility that allows them meet and exceed any LTL challenge. 

Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc.

When Southeastern Freight Lines made its first delivery over 70 years ago, the mission of that driver was exactly the same as it is for each associate today: to meet or exceed the needs of every customer – every single time. A 4 time GEODIS Carrier of the Year award winner, Southeastern Freight Lines has consistently provided premium LTL services, specializing in next day service in the Southeast and Southwest United States. They operate service centers in 13 states and Puerto Rico and also has a network of service partners to ensure transportation services in the remaining 37 states, Canada, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Mexico.

Truckload Carrier Awards

A.D. Transport Express, Inc.

2 time GEODIS Carrier of the Year award winner A.D. Transportation Express Inc. has decades of expertise in safely moving truckload shipments from short to long haul anywhere in the lower 48 states. They have grown to become one of the transportation industry’s most respected dry van carriers. They handle each and every shipment with expertise, reliability and a full commitment to deliver freight safely and on time. They also stress the importance of providing premium service while remaining environmentally conscious, incorporating objectives and goals to improve the environment while setting examples for industry peers. 

Devine Intermodal

Devine Intermodal has roots that go back 90 years. With extensive industry experience, Devine prides themselves on their customer service. They provide a dedicated Customer Service Representative who proactively communicates with any updates and acts as the single point of contact for any needs that arise. Devine emphasize their use of state-of-the-art software that provides visibility to cargo movement throughout the shipping process and enables seamless business transactions. Devine is C-TPAT compliant and takes extra care to ensure all loads are protected while in their chain of custody. 

J.S. Helwig & Son, LLC

Since starting the company in 1984, J.S. Helwig & Son have had the same primary goals of on-time delivery, on-time pickup, and consistent communication with their customers. Specializing in temperature controlled freight, they meet their goals through good customer relationships, flexibility, modern equipment, and the most up to date technology. They also put a strong emphasis on safety. They perform regular assessments and are constantly looking to improve protocols, training, tools and knowledge so their teams can work safely and efficiently. J.S. Helwing & Son typically runs West Texas and Western Kansas to the Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest. Routes are then pre-planned back either direct to Texas or the Midwest.

Ozark Motor Lines, Inc.

Family owned since 1961, Ozark Motor Lines has established itself as one of the most respected private, for-hire fleets in the country. They affirm they were built on a foundation of honesty, integrity, and family - a foundation that still stands strong today. Putting a particular emphasis on company culture, they also pride themselves for their drivers' no-touch and drop-and-hook freight, as well as being recognized as a top performing carrier in service level and volume.

Gulf Winds International, Inc.

Gulf Winds International, Inc. is a second-generation family-owned business that was founded in April 1996. They are a leading drayage, transloading, and domestic freight provider serving importers and exporters from around the globe – while redefining expectations for intermodal trucking through innovation, people, and purpose. They emphasize the importance of continual investments in people, clients, community, and the world. Gulf Winds prides themselves as being the largest and most robust transportation provider for Port Houston – with locations in Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Mobile, and Memphis.

Brokerage Carrier Awards

Sig Lines, Inc.

Sig Lines is a newer company that we are proud to present with a GEODIS Carrier of the Year award. Founded in 2018, they are a small, but fast growing company that has a particular focus on premium customer service and ensuring a great work environment for their employees with safety as a top priority. Sig Lines utilizes modern technology to spot and eliminate any operation issues that arise. Based in Illinois and focusing on Midwest located freight headed West, they have provided excellent service and impeccable on time performance. 

VGT Transportation, Inc.

VGT Transportation is another newer company we are thrilled to present with a GEODIS Carrier of the Year award. Founded in 2018, they are owner operated and thrive on creating a "people first" culture. Their mission is "to focus on providing the best service possible by creating long-lasting, and respectful relationships with their customers and their employees."  With a great track record serving customers across the the greater 48 states, VGT aims to provide the best possible customer service, backed by their motto, "How can we help you?"
